About Us

The glass birds are all made from Murano glass which is manufactured on the Venetian island of Murano; this tiny island has been famous for its glass making for centuries. Murano glass is selected for its quality, depth of colour and glossy shine.

The glass birds are all individually handcrafted by our talented glass artists in the UK. The glass birds are formed using a technique known as lampwork. A torch is used to melt the glass and once in a molton state it is shaped by blowing and manipulating with tools. Lampwork is a highly skilled artisan technique which requires time to master.

As a result each bird is unique and they are incredibly tactile objects. Each bird has been kiln annealed for strength and durability.

The birds are presented on a simple 18" chain plated in 925 sterling silver and arrive safely in a stunning linen pouch. 

Our birds come in a range of colours making them the perfect addition to any outfit or a really nice way to let a friend or relative know you're thinking about them. As they are made in the UK, we are able to offer bespoke colours/designs and packaging options for bulk orders (they make brilliant wedding favours!)
